A typical class

Three unhurried steps

Most classes run from morning until early afternoon. Seats are limited.

  1. 1

    Meet at the market

We begin at Chowrasta Market. Nyonya Su Pei shows you the herbs, fish, and spices you will cook with — and why they matter.

  2. 2

    Cook together, slowly

In a clean, small kitchen you grind rempah, wrap, stew, and fry. Everything is from scratch. Questions are welcome.

  3. 3

    Sit down to lunch

You eat what you made. Printed English recipes come home with you, so the dishes can live in your kitchen too.
